For the first time, we’re excited to have places available in the Cardiff Half Marathon, one of the prestigious SuperHalfs series of Half Marathon events that take place around the globe. The Cardiff Half is Wales’s largest mass-participation event and the second largest half marathon in the UK. Soak up the volume as thousands of spectators cheer you on, in a city known for its sporting passion!
With a sold-out ballot, the Cardiff Half’s flat, fast course passes many of the city’s iconic landmarks including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, Civic Centre and Cardiff Bay.
Whether you’re an experienced runner or a novice looking for a new challenge, we would love you to represent Team ACF on the streets of Cardiff next October.

why run FOR aFRICAN CHILDREN’S fUND?
The funds you raise from the Hackney Half will reduce school absence and improve long-term outcomes for children in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe, leading to better opportunities for a future free from poverty. Donations from your supporters make a big collective difference. This is where you come in:
£12 provides a girl in Tanzania with reusable sanitary towels and access to social education forums so she won't miss one week in four of her schooling;
£20 covers the cost of a care pack for an orphaned family in Zimbabwe so they children concentrate on learning rather than working;
£90 pays for a mug of porridge for 1,000 children in Kenya, reducing the need for working, scavenging or begging for food;
£250 supports a social worker in Uganda, to resettle a child rescued from the streets with a family.
PLUS you can tick this ever-popular Half Marathon off your bucket list.
