There is always a warm welcome for volunteers, donors and customers.

vOLUNTEER

If you have a few hours a week to spare, become a volunteer! It’s great fun and a good way to make new friends as well as helping us support children in Africa. Simply pop into one of the shops or email us to find out more.

All our shops also need a supply of good quality donations to sell. If you find yourself with spare clothing, accessories, linen, toys, books, records, CDs, DVDs, small electrical items or general bric-a-brac, please do drop it into one of our shops.

Charity e-Cards

Are you looking for a greener alternative to sending traditional greetings cards? You can support African Children’s Fund by donating the cost of cards and stamps, and sending e-Cards instead with DontSendMeACard.com. With cards for every occasion, you never need to worry about forgetting an important date again. Plus - with an ongoing totaliser in your account - you can see exactly how much you have donated and how much carbon you have saved by sending e-Cards rather than printed alternatives!

eBay

If you don’t live in the vicinity of our charity shops, you can still raise money for us from your pre-loved belongings by selling on eBay.

When you choose to sell an item via eBay, you can opt to donate a proportion of the final sales figure to African Children's Fund - anything ranging from 10% to 100%.

You can also make a donation to us when you purchase something through the site.

Supporting us through eBay is really easy - simply add us in your favourites list within your eBay account and you will be reminded about the options available every time you buy or sell an item.

We also have our own eBay store where you can browse some of our items and buy them online with nationwide delivery available. You can find out more about how our team lists items on eBay in this short video, filmed as part of our 2023 Give Up, Give Back campaign.
