Do you have your heart set on running a marathon in 2026? Look no further. The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is one of the biggest marathons in the world and combines a personal challenge with your chance to discover one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Tens of thousands of athletes, including a huge international contingent, will pound the pavements of the French capital's most famous avenues and plazas, from the foot of the Arc de Triomphe towards the Place de la Concorde. From the Rue de Rivoli you'll sweep through the Opéra Garnier, the Place de la Bastille and the Bois de Vincennes, while you take in views of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower as you head for the finish line.
Whether you’re an experienced runner or a novice looking for a new challenge, we would love you to represent Team ACF on the streets of Paris.

FUNDRAISING TARGETS:
£75 registration fee + £600 minimum sponsorship
Of course, your fundraising target isn’t your fundraising ceiling! Remember, for every £9 your page raises over your target, you could provide 100 mugs of porridge to help Kenyan children go to school.
Please note, all runners must be born before 1st January 2006. You will have to provide an HPC certificate to be able to run, further details of which are available on the official website.
why run FOR aFRICAN CHILDREN’S fUND?
The funds you raise for the Paris Marathon will reduce school absence and improve long-term outcomes for children in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe, leading to better opportunities for a future free from poverty. Donations from your supporters make a big collective difference. This is where you come in:
£12 provides a girl in Tanzania with reusable sanitary towels and access to social education forums so she won't miss one week in four of her schooling;
£20 covers the cost of a care pack for an orphaned family in Zimbabwe so they children concentrate on learning rather than working;
£90 pays for a mug of porridge for 1,000 children in Kenya, reducing the need for working, scavenging or begging for food;
£250 supports a social worker in Uganda, to resettle a child rescued from the streets with a family.
