5 Top Tips for Christmas Fundraising

With Christmas fast approaching, here are 5 simple ways you can support African Children’s Fund during the festive season:

1) Play the Webmart Christmas Game

Help us win £1,000 in the Jumping Santa Christmas game from Webmart. This simple game on their website is free to enter and the if you’re in the Top 5 high scores when it closes on Christmas Eve, you will win the charity of your choice (hopefully African Children’s Fund!) £1,000.

2) Send African Children’s Fund charity Christmas cards

If you’re in Oxfordshire, visit our charity shops in Faringdon, Grove or Witney to pick up a pack of 10 African Children’s Fund Christmas cards. With a range of different designs, there’s something for everyone! If you live further afield, you can also buy packs of cards from our eBay site - just search for ‘Christmas Cards’ in our shop. Order by 18th December and they should reach you in time for Christmas.

3) Be a Good Cause Santa Claus

With gift shopping in full swing, it’s the perfect time to browse your local charity shops for unique presents this festive season and be a Good Cause Santa Claus! Local business group, Juice Networking, has tasked their members with buying Secret Santa presents from an African Children’s Fund charity shop - maybe a suggestion for you to share in your workplace, or among your friends and family too?

4) Shop online via Give As You Live

Are you planning on shopping online this Christmas? There’s still plenty of time to raise free funds for us while you shop at over 6,000 online stores , thanks to Give As You Live. You can even download a donation reminder, so you never miss out!

5) Send e-cards with DontSendMeACard.com

Would you prefer a greener alternative to traditional Christmas cards? Perhaps you feel the cost of postage is too high. Or maybe you’ve just run out of time to get the cards in the post! With DontSendMeACard.com, you can make a donation to African Children’s Fund in lieu of posting cards, and you can choose an e-card to send to your friends and family with a personalised greeting.
