TrekFest 2019 - The Beacons

It’s back! Following its launch in 2013, TrekFest returns to The Beacons after a year off in 2018 for the event’s 2019 edition on 6th July 2019.

A fundraiser taking on TrekFest for African Children’s Fund, in front of a stone bridge & wearing a rucksack.

Full of stunning scenery, rolling countryside and impressive mountains, the Brecon Beacons runs through the centre of South Wales and is a training ground of the SAS – it will test you to your limits with challenging climbs and steep descents. Both the 25km and 50km routes venture to the summit of Pen Y Fan – the highest peak in southern Britain. From here you’ll witness just how beautiful and diverse this National Park really is!

You can choose to run, jog, trek or even crawl the 25km or 50km routes across one of the UK's most rugged, yet beautiful, national parks. TrekFest is designed to suit everyone from trekking beginners to elite trail runners. Race for the record, trek to beat the clock or walk at your own pace - the choice is yours!

You might event want to consider entering a team into the event. Perhaps you would like to trek with your friends, colleagues or family!

We will provide all African Children's Fund entrants with a technical t-shirt and fundraising support, and our partners at Global Adventure Challenges will be with you every step of the way from the moment you register until you complete the challenge.
