Give Up, Give Back | Lent 2023

Are you still deliberating over what you might like to give up for Lent? Perhaps you’ve not chosen yet. Or perhaps it’s just not your thing. Regardless, perhaps it could be the reason you didn’t know you were looking for to give up your pre-loved items and give back to one of the African Children’s Fund charity shops!

Our shops in Faringdon, Grove and Witney need donations and they would love to receive supplies of the following:

  • Clothing

  • Shoes

  • Accessories

  • Books

  • Toys & Games

  • Homeware

  • Linen

  • DVDs & CDs

  • Small electrical items

There’s no need to make an appointment or phone in advance - our shop teams will be very happy to accept your items whenever our stores are open. What’s more, if you’re a UK taxpayer, we can also reclaim Gift Aid on your donations - just ask about this when you visit.

Remember, every bag of donations you bring to one of our shops will make a difference to children born in poverty in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
